SM Tunis Acier

SM Tunis Acier S.A is the company established in March 2022 by the equal joint venture between Marcegaglia Carbon Steel Spa and Sideralba Spa to operate the former Sideralba Maghreb.

The plant, which covers a production area of more than 100,000 square meters, is located in the Bizerte Industrial Economic Park in Tunisia. Located in the far northeast of the country, on the southern shore of the Mediterranean Sea, Bizerte enjoys a strategic geographic location that gives it an important competitive advantage, thanks in part to the presence of a multi-sector hub that combines heavy industry with cutting-edge technology and boasts a qualified labor market. Also attached to the plant is a harbor dock from which trade routes to Europe, Arab countries and the American Continent can be reached.

The site currently employs 320 people and specializes in the production of galvanized coils, cold-rolled and pickled coils, and in galvanized strips and sheets.
